I will definitely be checking out other books by this writer, as I believe she’s done a couple of other time-travel novels and I bet they’re amazing. "Secrets" started well with teenage girls overhearing an adult conversation not intended for their ears. Then, Hazel's got her turn to tell her ordeal at the hands of Jack's enemy. I am eating these up like popcorn. The "promise" is in the title, but it sure ain't delivered. The characters are fantastic and so well rounded. ) which tells the future.
